Here is another one of his youngsters and the same as the bellneck, has the
cobby look. Unforunatelly I lost this one but will be putting the same pair
together again hoping for more.

this guy is a bit longer more to your type but he is bigger all around and
well proportioned thus to me seems not as long. So I put him to his mother
which is short and the youngsters are just right as in the check bellneck.
You can telll especially in the air the longer birds.
not sure who wrote recently that they get lots of wind and the cobby/short
tipplers have a hard time with it. I prefer the short cobby birds myself and
notice the shorter or smaller birds especially hens have an easier time with
the wind. I know we all have our preference but would like to know what
others prefer, a shorter or longer bird and why? Here is a pic of my hens
As you know my recent situation with the cooper is not letting me fly
anything. Last we spoke it was bad now its even worse as I have only two
left and this 3rd one I stocked as there is no point.
Hopefully later on in the summer it gets better.

I have also officially banded my 1st 2ybs with the CNTU bands today Had the
bands arrived 1 or2 more days later I don't think the bands would slip
through their feet, unless I was to boil them, the bands that is LOL! I dont
think that would work as the bands are plastic coated aluminum lol!
