Happy New Year to all FT members and their families xxxx.... Also 'Wishes' a
BOP free 2012 to all fliers!! I had a kit of 5 out yesterday 3 cocks and 2
hens. I didn't have much luck with the first 6 hens to come out I settled 5
out of 6 with 1 returning twice to old house but 2 of the others are like
them sticks the ausies throw lol... They were ok on shed top lol but
I don't know that I've ever sent a photo of my boxes, so I've attached a
photo of my kit boxes for ya to see and I've put the 5 yearlings into them
as well. They're 4 from Ali Amini's pigeons (2 hens, 2 cocks) and a little
hen bottom right, from Nash Milic's Tipplers.

Hi Michael,
The solid-door box at the bottom is for Droppers. Actually the door is made
from ventilation door. So the kits (Tipplers) can't see Droppers until the
feeding time.
The green feeders I use for breeders and individual kit boxes.
Hi Raja,
it must be much colder in Calgary than over here. The lowest winter temps we
get is 20 - 25 below. Still some of my birds used to rear youngsters in
temps like that. Natural selection, I guess. Good parents, strong
youngsters, if they all can survive. What else can we ask from birds that
should endure? Well, perhaps getting smartly out of the harms way when the
hawk strikes.
