Tippler Subject Category:

From what I take from Mr. Curley's statement is this. The English Flying
Tippler is a standalone breed of endurance pigeon second to none. Others
however refer to their different breeds of high flying pigeons using the
generic term Tipplers to describe their birds. The fact that some folk do
use the generic term Tippler to describe their birds does not make them
tipplers, however in the scheme of things does not make it right to do so.
The word Tippler was given to the endurance flying machine developed in
England by the developers of this breed of pigeon. From where I stand the
term Tippler should only be used when talking about or describing the
English Flying Tippler. The appropriate term that should be used for all
other High Flying breeds of pigeon is Highflier. i.e. Indian Highflier,
Pakistani Highflier, etc. Naveed my friend what I am trying to get across
is if one looks at the highflying breeds that exist around the world they
all have their own names, such as Serbain Highflyer, The Russians have the
Skycutters, then we have the Budapest Highfliers, all very good breeds of
birds and all good time flyers. However they are not tipplers and should not
be referred to as such. Folk have over the past and currently as well try to
align their breed of high flying birds to the tippler by using the term
tippler incorrectly. Just my thoughts on the topic my friend.

I agree with Danny the high flyers all come in thier own named category, where as tipplers are an established breed of its own and should be classed separate to the high flyer breeds.
