Hi Robin,
How are you mate??? You are very much spot on about BOP does attack in the
rain and windy condition. It's happened to me few times. I have bred few
youngsters in few months back. I lost almost every baby by Falcons while I
was printing them (in total 9 babies). Here, in Melbourne it's becoming
extreme, extreme hard to fly birds for 10-15 mins, because of Falcons. At my
place two peregrine falcons comes together for lunch or dinner.
I have to stock 4 youngsters to improve my next stock load. Before I stock
them I would like to try them on the air at least 5-6 time then I will stock
them but the way Falcon is reacting I have no idea will I able to save them
from Falcon or not!!!!!
I have got few more youngsters in the nest; hopefully I will bring them down
in few days time.
Here are some pictures of my youngsters which I have brought them down from
the nest bowl 2 - 3 days before.
