Luka buddy,

This is a interesting topic at all times, and I believe it has nothing to do
with strains in general, and I say that knowing very well that there are
some birds that for whatever reason, they just are very tough to settle. Now
after saying that, personally I think in your case, there are times that he
birds are just to forward, and a bit to old. I mean correct me if I am
wrong, but I think you have tried to settle ybs that have been over 6 or 7
weeks old at times, and tat in its self is very difficult to achieve with
great results and low losses.

The other factor is one that resides in most of us, and that is in the area
of our patience. It has been a long winter, and now with some great ybs that
are raring to go, we just let things get away from us to easily. I had some
very late bred ybs last fall, and due to that alone I was in no hurry to get
them started, so I kept them very low in their condition, asked nothing of
them other than to look around their new surroundings. Well this lasted for
two weeks or so and I can tell you not one was lost. Yes they were very
hungry at the time but this just might be the reason !! Just my thoughts on
this buddy.

Get them out no later than 5 weeks old, keep them very hungry and be patient
!!

All the Best!
