This is heart breaking news for any pigeon fanciers. That's why I told many
people defiantly this country (Australia) is not for Tippler. May be
Tipplers for only those people who keep their birds in the cage like a
chicken.
Last Friday I lost one young ones by Falcon. They couldn't even fly for 15
mins. When they were climbing up two Falcons came and gets one after couple
of chased.
Yesterday (Monday) I flew three young ones in the morning, in 5 mins time
Falcon and started attacking them from everywhere. But couldn't get any,
Lucky, Lucky!!!! Then Erion (Secretary of NTAA) came over to my place about
5pm and I flew two young ones and one old blue bar. Guess what within 8-10
mins time Falcon came and started attacking them from up, down, right, left,
and centre. Then I and Erion went to Con's place to see his birds. Con flew
three birds for us. After a while we came back to my place my birds were
still flying but everywhere. Guys believe me or not there were three Falcons
attacking my birds. Two Falcons was high and one was medium low. Finally one
of the Falcons took my old blue bar. He was very good flyer.
Just this afternoon (Today) I was training my four young tipplers. Suddenly
one Falcon (Female) came and attacks my young ones. She was so low (probably
30-35 meters high). I have got my three young ones back but still one
missing.
If this kind of condition is continue how we would fly our birds for Comp??
Now I feel like to give up. After spend time, feeding them, training them,
spend money, energy for what!!!! Feeding them to Falcon!!!! And this is just
keep on going.
It is getting really hard for all of us now to put some birds in the air.
Cheers............Shahed
