Robin, Karl Kocholl bought his stock birds from a Mr. Tervege (DFU, I think,
he died) and before that they were Merediths I heard. Who knows what went
into them on the way. You can see a good pic of them at:
www.internationaltipplers.com - main page. I will try to dig up some pics of
mine - they are the descendants of parents bearing Karl's rings.
Here is one of my Kocholl checker stock hens for now.
