Hi Michael - Yes it seems that in certain regions around the world we have a
certain amount of uniqueness of colours of our tipplers, I mean you only
have to look on how i have developed my own birds, from the basis that i
started with as a prime example.

But if i had never joined this forum i would never have seen the colours we
are seeing today. And i agree some years ago we did see reds/black splashed
etc, but clearly in the UK we are predominantly Blue/Grey/Badge/Print etc
that seemed to be the direction from our old timers and i have yet to see
the colours we are seeing in NA.

I used the comparison off the colours with some roller colours i have seen,
as it was the best way i could describe it. But like i said its seems to be
more common over in NA the colours, as a matter of fact the redish looking
bird with the white face, i would love to have a team of 20 of them flying
above my loft.

You see i am not any kind of expert of the colour patterns or which is
dominant and which carries this that or the other, to be frank with you i
cannot get my head around it. I have simply asked on the forum how these
colours have come about in NA that's all.

It seems a pity that any political goings on with certain factions in NA
that others are being accused of being involved in some way, all we wanted
was some clarity on the colours on the forum, with no hidden agenda,.

You have given a good insight in your post, thank you

Dave B
