I know what you're asking Jon about flagging the youngons in daylight.

I personally don't use a flag to keep them going , but just buzz them on by
clapping hands or slamming the wheelie bin lid as they constantly looking to
land . its heart in your mouth time this stage when they are panicking and
flying fast tight circles to be in the loft. I wonder if its the birds eyes
adjusting to the dark ,

you've just gotta ignore them have loads a bottle and make them do it , or
they will get into the habit of looking at dusk and want to be in the loft .
it maybe if they are too thin as well . but in your heat it shouldn't take
much food to get them going .

Jon so basically you can pick your fly day , so you can get them going up to
the point of 1hr daylight 5 hours dark in training. for a few weeks feed
them up and break the 15 hour barrier .
