Hello FT members, Not so long ago 8months maybe, I said that I had seen with
my own eyes a pure white Gordon Hughes tippler, and here is 3 this year's
young birds, Total quality and buiteful feathering, the birds were bred from
a pair of Tom Dilks Hughes birds, Tom was never away from Gordon's Cree and
had his best, He was telling me that Gordon was a poor young bird flyer 12
to 13 hours until he put the Swansea badge in to his birds, Was at a canary
show in the midlands I was judging, and a old fellow said what was wrong
with this bird to my surprise when I looked it was Brian White, Brian had
some of the best Hughes in the 70s and he said he used to exchange with TOM,
and said he had the best from him, Brian bought the last 3 pairs of Gordon's
birds in the 70s and flow them well winning nationals and north sections
with them, if you wanted to win the north section in the 70s he was the man
to beat, He fell out with the NTU over a flyer cheating and said he was not
going to keep his birds just as a hobby, John Davies from Bristol, bought
all Brains birds 3pairs and 12 dark trained young birds, What happened to
brains birds down in BRISTOL no one knows, The last I heard John was not
that well, maybe Jeff his brother got his birds, I would like to know if
someone knows regards barney
