I Was working my two jacks up in the country, rabbi ting and ratting, when I
came across this man with a Goshawk, He said his hawk was picking up the
rabbits my dogs where moving, I was telling him about the peregrine problem
with Davy in Sunderland He said there were 5 pairs of peregrine in that
area, and he said there were 1 pair in Newcastle, I was telling him about
the eagle owl in Whitby moors and said he was munching the Goshawk and the
peregrine., Which he agreed with, I asked him how the Eagle owl was killing
the hawks, he replied when the hawks were asleep roosting at night, But he
said the Goshawk had the upper hand during the day time and the Eagle Owl
had to hide from him, He said he has had hawks 10 years and said the
Goshawk is the best working hawk in the country for working the land and sky
hope this is some help
